Estimated snowfree reception using 8 dB gain receive antenna (like KLM 6 element beam) 20 feet high with 3 dB cable loss and VSB filter and duplexer on transmit. Large circle is coverage range using 70 Watt amplifier, small circle is coverage range using using 10 Watt transmitter. Small contour is direct line of sight visibility to transmitter and large contour is Fresnel Zone coverage - not direct line of sight but reception may still be possible. So for example direct line of sight coverage with the 10 Watt transmitter should be possible into Baraboo, Portage and Sauk City - with the addition of an amplifier range could increase to cover Madison, Wisconsin Dells, Reedsburg and Montello.
